Get ready first. Hair & make-up done?

Then put on your jewelry.

If possible, try to avoid contact with:
water, soap, oils, perfume, make-up (remover), hair products,
alcohol & acids, nail polish (remover), chlorine, (hair) dyes, cleaning supplies, sports, etc.
Remember your jewelry is made from precious metals & stones - they deserve taken care of. :)

Be gentle.

Every stone and metal has a different degree of hardness.
Depending on the material - metals can scratch, stones can crack & pearls can lose their luster.

CLEANING YOUR JEWELRY

You can clean your jewelry with a soft cloth,
ideally with a silver/gold cleaning cloth which you can buy in every drugstore.

Still, be gentle.

- Do not use (kitchen) paper towels or paper tissues,
these can scratch the metal as well as stones & pearls.

- Do not use any cleaning supplies even if they are for metal,
if your jewelry contains pearls or stones as well they can irrevocably be damaged.

- Also do not use ultrasonic cleaners, again if your jewelry has a pearl or stone
  they will fall off or even can be destroyed. In any case they will lose their luster.
